Environmental Advocacy

We push for laws that fight climate change and help people adapt. This includes advocating for policies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and supporting legal frameworks that help communities prepare for climate impacts.

To protect Kenya’s rich biodiversity, we use legal tools to establish and enforce protected areas. We also fight against illegal wildlife trade by ensuring strict penalties for poachers and traffickers.

We work on laws that promote sustainable use of natural resources. This involves developing regulations for responsible mining, forestry, and fishing practices, and ensuring communities have legal rights to manage their local resources.

To combat pollution, we advocate for stricter environmental standards and help enforce existing pollution laws. We take legal action against polluters and push for policies that encourage cleaner production methods.

We make sure environmental impact assessments are properly conducted for all major development projects. We challenge projects that don’t meet legal environmental standards.

To promote green energy, we work on laws that incentivize renewable energy projects and remove legal barriers to clean energy adoption. We also help communities understand their legal rights regarding energy projects.

We use legal mechanisms to protect entire ecosystems and wildlife. This includes drafting and enforcing laws that preserve critical habitats, establish wildlife corridors, and ensure the welfare of animals.

Through these legal efforts, we aim to create a stronger environmental protection framework in Kenya, ensuring a sustainable future for all.
